I joined THUS Ltd in October 2011 as Managing Director having spent four years with Cable&Wireless Worldwide in a number of senior executive roles.
In addition to my current responsibilities at THUS, I have overall responsibility for the Cable&Wireless Worldwide Mid-Market Channel. In this capacity I am responsible for the strategic, operational and financial performance of the overall Mid Market business.
As Managing Director of THUS, I am committed to ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do. I believe great businesses are built by strong teams delivering an exceptional customer experience. I am therefore proud to work with such a committed and highly experienced team who are continually striving to improve and enhance the experience of THUS and Demon customers. I will work tirelessly to provide the leadership and vision to continue this focus and ensure that the very best innovation and technology being developed by Cable&Wireless Worldwide is available to all our customers.
Outside of work, I am a keen sportsman with a particular interest in football and I enjoy spending time with my wife Joanne and our four young children. I am also a non-executive director of NI-CO, Global Investment Bank and the Business Services Organisation and am Vice Chairman of St. Mary’s Grammar School in Belfast.
I joined THUS in 2000. Starting as a Telecoms Engineering Graduate in the Utility sector with ScottishPower, my career with THUS has included a diversity of senior roles covering Engineering Operations for 8 years and frontline Sales Management for 6 years, before I moving back to my roots within Operations.
As Director of Operations I am responsible for driving improvements in customer service and operational excellence to make sure our customers receive an industry leading experience when working with THUS. I recognise that whilst there will be a continual evolution of the experience we provide for our customers, I am proud of the skills and capability this organisation possesses and totally committed to implementing plans that will deliver further significant improvements over the coming months.
I am married with two children and have a keen interest in music and cinema.
I joined THUS in 2000 and have worked in a number of commercial and HR positions before taking up my current role.
I am responsible for the “3 C’s” – Colleagues, Culture and Communication. From recruitment and induction, to talent development, reward and recognition, my role is to create and cultivate an enthusiastic, energetic and dynamic environment that accelerates the performance of all our people. This ensures that they are committed to delivering a customer experience that is second to none and are empowered to push the boundaries to develop innovative and exceptional solutions for our customers.
Outside of work, both myself and my husband like to spend time with friends and family and are keen, albeit fair-weather, motorcyclists.
After five years in various finance roles at Cable&Wireless Worldwide, I joined THUS Ltd as Finance Director in January 2012.
In my previous role, I was Finance Director of Cable&Wireless Worldwide’s enterprise business across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), and was involved in restructuring the EMEA business. The result of this re-organisation saw the different parts of the business across the region starting to feel part of the one team and ultimately led to more satisfied customers. The EMEA region also delivered unprecedented year-on-year growth during this time.
As part of my role as Finance Director at THUS, I see much of my focus being on increasing customer service through simple steps such as improving our billing systems, credit control etc. I am also responsible for ensuring we have the right governance procedures and financial controls in place to support THUS’ continued business growth.
Outside of work, I enjoy all kinds of sport such as golf, Gaelic football and soccer. I am also a director of the Federation of Irish Sport, an organisation set up to help promote the interests of Irish sport.
