CityFleet Networks
CityFleet Networks is a specialist communications provider for the transport sector, providing communications systems for taxis in the Edinburgh area.
Working with Sigtec, an Australian-based supplier of taxi dispatch services, THUS has helped CityFleet develop a sophisticated service in Scotland. The call centre uses calling line identity (CLI) technology to provide customer service staff with details of callers on screen when an incoming call is received, along with any information about their previous orders. This enables operators to personalise responses to the caller.
Once the taxi arrives at the address, a confirmation message is automatically sent back to the call centre, triggering a call to the passenger to let them know that their cab is waiting.
