THUS offers a safe alternative to keeping your internet platform in house, by providing ready-to-use single
or multiple racks for your equipment, located at one of our secure hosting centres.
The racks are connected directly into our high-bandwidth national network, helping to bypass local loop
bottlenecks. This means that you benefit from consistently high availability and high-speed access to your
web content, giving your customers a quality experience every time they visit your site. |

Features |

We will supply, install and maintain the requested number of equipment racks. A minimum commitment of one rack applies. |
|
The racks have front and rear access, and can only be opened using a PIN code. |
|
Each cabinet is supplied with aggregate 10amps per rack of 220/240V AC. |
|
Multiple diesel generators and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) will provide backup power, ensuring your servers continue to function in case of a mains power supply failure. |
|
Resilient 100Mbps Ethernet connection to our internet switch. |
|
One IP address for each piece of equipment housed in your rack(s) comes as standard, but you can request additional addresses if required. |
|
We will provide secondary DNS support for up to five domains, free of charge. The benefit of having secondary DNS servers is that if one DNS server goes offline because of maintenance or outage, the other server will continue to manage requests for your domain names (please note, it will be your responsibility to register and renew your domain names). |
|
Access your equipment 24 hours a day, seven days a week with unrestricted access time during normal working hours. Additional access hours and access outside of normal working hours are available upon request. |
|
We can provide basic engineering support by our skilled on-site staff should equipment intervention become necessary and you are not on site. The service is limited to non-technical assistance and is performed according to your strict instructions. |

We supply standard lockable 19in racks with 47U capacity. |
|
Your server will be powered by 2 x 8-way IEC power rails per rack, supplying aggregate 10 amps per rack of 220/240V AC. |
|
Our data centre is equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with multiple 80-200kVA UPS units in N+1 configuration, providing autonomous power of minimum 10 minutes. |
|
Backup power is supplied by multiple diesel generators, each with three days worth of fuel. |
|
Your 100Mbps Ethernet connection is via a U Ethernet patch panel with 2 active sockets providing dual, standard RJ45, Ethernet connections into a THUS internet switch. The connection is via structured Cat-5 cabling and Cat-5 patch cords. |
